I’ve been going to my local subway for several years once or twice a week and over the years have had conversations with the owner about this and that. About a month ago, I approached her about my business and our conversation started.
We’ve been playing tag with phone calls and emails, but today I stopped in for my breakfast sandwich and both she and her husband were there. So we started chatting. An hour later they are both very interested.
One thing that stuck out from my conversation…she says...”you’ve been doing this for a year and you are JUST telling me about it now?”
Lesson learned – from now on, I will share anytime I have a prompting! No longer will I prejudge or think, nah…she wouldn’t be interested.
